The programme tonight is about:
"The Money Trap - How the banks lure you into debt
A senior banking executive reveals how high street banks deliberately target their customers and push borrowing. The whistleblower tells how the industry is driven by aggressive targets, uses hard-sell tactics and sophisticated marketing techniques, and profits from customers in financial difficulty. The programme highlights one of an alarming number of people who have killed themselves when their debt spirals out of control."
Sorry Mod's weren't sure where to put this but thought I'd put it somewhere to let everyone know as it seems a good watch. Move accordingly if needs be. Thanks.

Thanks for that....should be interesting. I owe alot of money to my ex bank--LloydsTSB, and when looking through these boards, I am always so shocked at how much people owe them!! They always seemed to want to lend me money and increase my credit limit on my Credit Card.....which I now owe £15000 on!

I know that using it was my fault, but they just hand it out so easily!!!

£15000!
I've just turned 22 and graduating this month. Please don't tell me this is what i will face in life!!
I owe about £2700 in student loan, pocket change in comparison to a lot of other students.
I'm doing well so far though, always say no to the sales people asking if i want theiry credit card!I'm better off without you.0 -
YES £15000!!!! Just tell how they honestly expect someone to pay that back?? The MINIMUM payment was £300 per month, and more than half of that was interest!!!!
Stay well clear of credit cards.....in fact, stay well clear of credit as best you can!!!!
I wish I had! Have really messed up!
