Applied for this card at the same time as a Virgin card to take advantage of 0% both accepted difference in credit limits £15,000 on Virgin £2,000 on Tesco. The details i gave were the same.
A friend of mine also applied for the Tesco's card and only got £1,500 limit.0 -
Thought I'd save time by applying for Tesco's one online. Got the paperwork through, 5.9% on balance transfer. Phoned up and said I wanted to re-apply and was told I could either proceed with my current application or I would have to wait 8 months to reapply.
Told them to cancel application. Waste of time they are.The guys in the locker room kid me about having a small vocabulary.
I don't know why. Mine looks just as big as theirs.0 -
I have just applied for a Tesco card with a view to using it for food shopping (400 a month), paying off the balance in full and taking advantage of the vouchers rewards scheme.
BUT Im now wondering, if they offer me 0 percent until Nov, whether to keep the balance, put the £400 amonth away in an ISA, get the interest from that then repay the card before November. Any thoughts on this?Mr Lewis saved my life.0 -
If you keep the balance and pay off in November you will still get the vouchers at some point, I think you get the vouchers for spending the money on the CC not actually paying it off. Thing to watch, make sure you don't go over the credit limit and check ts & cs carefully for minimum payments, I use DD to ensure my CC s all get paid on time. Also when the time comes to pay off the balance make sure it arrives in plenty of time so you don't lose the benefit in interest payments.0
