Just seen an advert on TV saying that Tesco's are offering 0% until November 2005 on their credit cards. ;D

0% interest on all purchases until the 1st November 2005, thereafter 15.9% typical APR variable.
5.9% p.a. for the life of all balances transferred before 30thApril 2005* - fixed until the transfer is paid off!0 -
Thanks for that, I didn't catch the full spec of the card. But it would appear as if it's "Not As Good As It Sounds"0

If you have a clubcard hold fire a while 'cos they are mailing offers with 0% on purchases and balance transfers until 1st Nov - not too shabby ;D0

Anyone know which bank backs this card?0

Royal Bank Of Scotland are the backers of the Tesco card, has anyone tried to get the 0% deal who already holds a card?? Might try it...0

Yes the leaflet in store does state 0% on balance transfers too, with a £35 fee.0 -
I picked up a leaflet yesterday. You can only get this application form in Tesco Stores. There were loads of boards all round the store advertising this promotion.
The charges are 0% interest on balance transfers, subject to a handling fee of 2% with a minimum of £2.00 and a maximum of £35.00. Purchases and balance transfers are both 0% fixed until 1 November 2005.
I think I might wait and see what credit limits anyone gets offered before applying.0 -
Only problem with waiting is time is running out. It is until November 2005 not for 9 months or whatever. In this case time is money ::)
