    yay to getting a decent kitchen quote. My kitchen came from B&Q it's been really good.

    no, half of it i build and my brother in law fitted and the other half i paid someone else to fit. It did take me ages to plan the best layout though as i've such a tiny kitchen and wanted to make good use of space.
    You often get really good deals though with discounts and such.
    i recently put one of their larder cupboards in the bedroom to hold all my crafting stuff, and was lucky that they had some of their expensive doors 70% off, they ended up being cheaper than their 'cheapest' range which was what i was going for.

    1)Save £350 for home insurance for October - £28.13 saved
    2)Save at least £50 a month for emergency/kitchen savings - £350 saved so far (includes september)
    3)Reduce debt to under £10,000 by October - currently £10,355.68
    4) Save more tesco clubcard vouchers to use for xmas food - aim to save at least £11 by xmas - this depends on how many vouchers I get I have £39 in vouchers so far - have received £5.50 worth of vouchers
    5) Save £50 for car insurance by end of 2010 - £10.37 saved
    6) Save £100 for xmas - £2 saved

    To save for the car insurance, xmas and home insurance i am rounding my account down every week to make payments.

    £10 added to the savings for the car insurance - now £20.37
    The home insurance is now up to £50.13

    Have got paid so have added money to the car insurance (now £50) and to the home insurance (now £100.10) and emergency savings (now £373)

    Finally cancelled my virgin cc yesterday and am due for a phone upgrade in 2 weeks.

    Its my sisters hen do today so we are off to the spa, then out for dinner and drinks.

    Bought a dishwasher yesterday so no NSD for me and probably today won't be on either.

    oh i'm so jealous, our dishwasher went bang last year and i've had to survive almost a year without one. It's more like exist really i have to admit.

    The OH has been paid his overtime so have been able to make a start on the savings

    Other targets that have not been worked on:
    • By the end of 2010 reduce debt free date to november 2013 - currently its dec 2013
    • Pay £900 off debts with the 1 debt vs 100 target

    Today am having the dishwasher delivered and then need to finish the thank you cards. Also I need to mow the lawn and then go shopping for some work clothes for myself and the OH.

    Total NSDs for this month was 9/10.
    Have pledged 18 for September which I probably won't meet but am determined one day to reach this target.
