:money:Wow i have not updated for a long time. What have i been up to well i got married in Tobago and have just come back from my honeymoon in Las Vegas and Hawaii. Had a fab time and an even better one due to all the money saving beforehand. Normally i come back from abroad dreading to see the cc bills but this time it is high but not as scary as it would have been if i had not saved and used the right cards.

    Updates for last month
    nsds reached 8/8
£14.50/£80 GC - still need to work out

    Update on targets
    1. Save £350 for home insurance for October
    2. From September increase mortgage overpayment from £60.11 to £100.11
    3. From October save at least £50 a month for emergency/kitchen savings - have been doing this since april and have saved £285 (this includes august)
    4. By the end of 2010 reduce debt free date by another 4 months so it is december 2013 - target reached :j
    5. Reduce debt to under £10,000 by end of year - currently £10,816.90 - under the £11,000 mark YAY! - change to by end of October
    6. Pay £450 off ccs with the 1 debt vs 100 challenge - target reached :j

Congratualtions on your wedding you saved really hard for it you deserved to enjoy it. I'm sure you will reach all your targets as now you dont need to save for the wedding.
    MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035
EST DFD JAN 2021 (that needs to change)
NOW JAN 2019 (that still needs to change)

Plan for tomorrow is to phone up and increase the mortgage overpayment to £180.11. This will take off 6 years and 7 months & we will save £102,963.57. Am going to find out the account details too so that I can make random overpayments during the year. Also going to find out about kitchens tomorrow, with the wedding money that we received hopefully we can afford to get the kitchen redone with no money getting put on cc's.

Have already set my target for the 1 debt vs 100 which doesn't start till september but its good for me to plan ahead - £900 is my target
