You should probably send it International Signed for
According to paypal:
Royal Mail - International Signed For® is an acceptable method of online tracking
Sellers must retain the International Signed For® 'proof of posting' information provided by Royal Mail to be protected against a claim under PayPal's Seller Protection Policy. The seller will meet this part of the criteria as long as the online tracking number is valid and the address on the receipt matches the buyer's address in the relevant PayPal Transaction Details page.

both are ok, ive just sent a hard drive to germany using International Signed For as it was only worth £24 , ISF covers upto £30 compensation although it covers more if you pay extra.0

Not much difference in price but plumb for Airsure if you can.
Some countries you can only send International signed for but use Airsure if possible.0 -
Inidentally if it is a mobile phone then it is no longer covered for more than £32 regardless of what overseas service is used.

Re airsure

I would just use Airmail, you are covered upto £32 pound anyway. I think Internationl signed for is a rip off at £3.50 on top of the normal postage.0

This is false economy if you have a chargeback. The chain and countries an item has to go through is potentially huge and thats a hell of lot of people you have to trust. Add the extra £3.50 or so to your P+P charge and the buyer is paying it anyway!0 -

Silly idea!
I can't agree. Up to £32 you are covered anyway so why pay and additional £3.50 just to catch out the occasional dishonest buyer?
I sell too much overseas to pay £3.50 extra per package and my buyers wouldn't buy from me if I passed the cost on as currently my items are light and I charge in the region of £2.50 to the uS..I would more than double that to get a signature.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
