    nice one on the step mum...family can be so handy to have sometimes.....phoned the bank and cancelled it on the ohine (couldnt do it online) ...phoned the edf and explained the situation they said they will probably try to take it anyway but not to worry ...it's ok for them to say not to worry but i am ....i'm not sure how much in charges i have i think approx £300 or something (not positive) i checked other banks but they wouldnt give me the facility of writting a cheaque for me ...i know i can have my own cheaque book ..but i dont trust myself with one of them ...i've had to get nationwide to write me a few cheaques now (ebay etc) and will need them to write me one again soon hubby and son dont have passports...

    I would reclaim the charges it £300! Defo they have your money.That would pay your gas bill for the year

    i think i need to kick myself i just checked my online bank and have noticed that once again i miss calculated my money ...i forgot my endowment comes out today ...i've attempted to get an overdraft of £100 the online banking says it will give me it but it may take 2 working days ...argh ....when will i learn ....dont know whether to phone them or not ...

    ok stupid panic over....phoned hubby (who has now lost his lbm somewhere if you see it please let me know) in a panic ...explained that that is now two ddm's that are gonna bounce and that we just cant afford the £60 imposed for bouncing (plus no doubt money from the company) i was in a bit of a state so unknown to me he phoned his mum who came up and handed me £100 to do us till tuesday ..i've put the money in the bank thankfully even though they were due out they havnt came out yet and hopefully come tuesday i will have a couple hours o/t to help pay off the mil...i just dont know how were gonna manage all this !!!!!! every month from now on ...i cant cut out any of the ddm's any more i'm down to the bones only keeping what we really need (even then it's alot of money) i'm doing my spending diary we arnt wasting money at all making my own bread (works out a wee bit cheaper not much) budgeting within an inch of my life...managing to pay off debts havnt skipped any yet but by the looks of things it wont be long till i do ...anyone got any advice ?

    Didnt want to reply in the other thread but survey went better than I expected our house has increased 4 times in value we have quadrupled our money!!!!

    fantastic news.....scotland has really started to catch up with england by the sounds of it ...i havnt written on here for day's as i had lost my diary lol....i did a search for it and it came back not known....this week i have been back in touch with the lawyer (still no luck there) and we have stuck to the budget....only have one more payment to make to the college then i can cross that off my list...the debt is coming down yey

    i left college last december due to too much work/debt etc...that's the one i'm paying for now but was studying with the o.u ...but lost my will to live with that one i think....

    well today i got my new car insurance through quidco so i get £60 cash back for that which i'm relatively pleased about i have eventually paid off my college fees so that's another debt away ...got a letter from council today i have fallen behind in my council tax if i dont pay it in the next 14 days they are gonna take me to court...this getting out of debt malarky is a long slow process aint it....i've ordered martins book from the library (which i did enter)...mmmm now has anything else happened...did my click throughs on pigsback so got me an extra 30p there ...thinking about giving up the matched betting i dont think i am cut out for it to be honest ......i think that's it for now
