  • Couple booked already - two holidays in France this year camping in June and August (to align with brother and school hols). Free tunnel trips thanks to Tesco's clubcard vouchers.

Booked to go to Mallorca for 8 days at Easter with husbands friends, and 10 nights in Turkey in the summer with all three kids and dd's boyfriend! Should be wonderful and it will be our first time AI!
  • Off next weekend to New Zealand for a month - well it is their summer so I guess it counts as a summer holiday :)

And we booked that 11 months ago. Saved purselves £800 on the flights compared to this year, but lost out on the exchange rate for spending money.

Had to book last Sept for hols in June this year, for a couple of reasons. First we are going to the same hotel as friends and we needed to make sure we got in. Secondly, as a family with 2 adults and 3 kids, we needed to get the right room, and free childs places.
  • We are all booked 2 weeks in thailand and a week in new york

I don't do summer holidays - too hot, too many annoying brats running around!
We've only just got back from skiing so still recovering from the cost of lift passes and ski hire  but we will probably book a last minute uk break in sept/oct when the big kids are at school (see a pattern here?:p)

Me and OH booked last July for 2 weeks in the Dominican this July/August, can't wait!!!
We booked it so early so we can pay it off bit by bit every month.
  • Hey :)

    Option H - couple, won't take a summer holiday.

Probably will take a cheap break at the end of the year, or possibly do christmas away together...but summer holidays, not for us! Why go away for the nicest part of the year in the UK!!

Also we're really cutting back - all spare money is going into the mortgage, so not fussed about taking holidays at the moment....
