Cleaning before holiday

and for when you're about to come back.
We holidayed late Sept/early Oct last year. There were summer dressess my daughter wore that would get no wear once we were back, weather would be too cold at home and by next summer she would have outgrown them. So I washed and dried them over there and put them in their clothes recycling skip at Wal-mart. Did the same with some of DS t-shirts
Intend doing same this year as we will be away late Aug/early Sept.0 -

Do you fancy a few days in Ireland twink? I only booked our holiday yesterday and we're off on Friday, so by the time I've organised everything else I think I'll be lucky to have a quick flick round with a microfibre cloth before I go.
Normally I'm ultra organised and like to leave the house spotless, but it just isn't going to happen this year.

Having 2 cats, I uaually have a family member house sitting, my now 19 year old nephew, last year I did a thorough clean, and house was spottless when I got home, methinks big sis had a hand in this though, as she was seeing to cats while nephew was at work.

I hoover, clean bathroom and kitchen and change bedding before I go on holiday like some of the others it's a great feeling coming back to a clean and tidy house.
Have to say my kitchen cupboards are looking pretty tidy since clearing out and undertaking the June storecupboard challenge.:j0
