I havnt seen them with and hologram sticker on them. the back also looks like it has a sticker on it, I can see somthing running round the edge where it changes.

Fake 2GB MS Pro Duo have 1948MB and 1959MB of memory space when it is shown on devices like PSP. Genuine one have a capacity of 1909MB while some devices will read 1910MB.

the read problems your getting would be a good indication its fake too. it is only when you break the capacity of the card you get the problems unfortunatly you only find that out when its too late.

Thanks John I got the card off a reputable ebayer with no poor feedback for thousands of transactions.

The psp reads it at 1939mb, and although I had just under 1gb of data on it it appeared okay. I formatted the card today and I got the above amount

It rarely can be read on a card reader that works fine with supplied adaptor or a different adaptor when I tried to copy a load of mp3 it copied about 100mb before it acme up with error cant find device K, K being card reader. I cant even read the card now in car reader yet another sandisk card (64mb) works fine in two duo adaptors

The delaer has offered to give me my money back even refund postage, so hats off to him. Ironic that despite it not working in two card readers properly it seems fine in psp using usb2. I copied 1.9gb of mp3's so it may not be a fake after all, although strangely not all folders I copied over into music folder show mp3s, I am wondering whether its because of the high bitrate and or sheer amount of mp3s showing, wonder if there was a lmit to the amount of files that can be seen.

I can live without it being in a card reader so as long as it works properly via usb2 and psp, I can then transfer fiels across for my daughter.

Person who I bought of Ebay with very high feedback (no negatives) also said Sony dont make cards and three supplies make them

I also updated the firmware to 2.6 I think thats the right version from 2.5

Updating the firmware LOL I have a load of PSP games that I refuse to play becasue they want me to update the firmware I purposefully keep mine at 1.5 because it has alot of benifits over being able to browse the web and there are work arrounds for the games anyway playing from the memory stick ISO's so I have alot of games.

Oh yes the firmware was at 2.5 when I got it, so no good for the home grown games I cant get the psp to work on net now with the wireless protection.
