I cant turn the mains water off until Sunday as we need it every day as we often work from home. Turning the water off to the washing machine would not help as its where they have connected the hose pipe to our plumbing pipes thats leaking. We have a bucket under one of the leaks (have found two leaks ow) and have made a make-shift device with tape, plastic bag and cloths to try and minimise the damage caused. Am just peeved its now been three weeks with no washing machine and am having to wait longer to get new installation sorted (should have been checked during initial installation I think as drip/leaks are clearly noticeable behind machine/sink). Anyway fingers crossed for Sunday that it will be sorted and they wont start the 'you need to call a plumber, its your pipes' crap again (they were fine with past two machines and did not leak until new one was linked up!

    Hi,

As you bought on-line then you are covered by the DSR ... it will be interesting to see whether the delivery drivers accept your refusal.

    Mark

The drivers will have to, they can't force entry into the customer's house and they can't leave it outside either as they could be done for fly tipping.
