    Oh didn't know that. I only do it with handbrake off on my driveway but good to know!

    a bar through a hole in the rear wheels hit it with a hammer and it should free the brake shoes off.
    to repair it you should get the brake drums removed and have the shoes stripped and cleaned with some copper slip applied to the surface area of the backplate where the shoes slide.
    ...work permit granted!
