Have added my deposit debt to my debt now.... see my mum and uncle lent me £200 each to pay my deposit with.... so it IS A DEBT.. and i hadnt been including it! So im £400 up on my "cash owed to family" figure.
Mum has offered to pay my Capital One card minimum this month as i dont have enough left in my overdraft!
BUT luckily.. (and quite complicated)
My Capital One JULY statment has come...Balance £2450 - Minimum payment £73.50
BUT my statement for my sainsburys card hasnt been done yet... and a BT of £1k i did off this onto the Capital One card only finalised this weekend... so missing the cut off for my July capital one...... BUT that £1000 is no longer on my sainsburys card statement... which is due to be sent out any day soon....
Sooooo instead of my Sainsburys balance being £1188.97 - minimum £35.66
It will be £188.97 - minimum £5.66
Saving me £30 in minimum payment this month!! :j :j
(only paying the minimums at the mo till i can get some more money in the bank! And get out of my overdraft as rest of debt is 0%!) I KNOW it doesnt pay off the debt any quicker!)
Debt now looks like this:
Capital One: £3376.50 (0% till sept 07)
Sainsburys: £188.97 (0% till next month)
Overdraft: £1429.85 (something silly like 29.9%)
Cash to parents: £700 (0% till whenever to be paid back whenever)
Cash to Uncle: £220 (0% till whenever to be paid back whenever)
OH is due to be coming into some money in about 4 weeks as hes remortgaging his house to raise some capital to finish renovating the house and consolidate his tiny mortgage and his extortinate secured loan (12% APR on a 25K loan over 25 years... only 3 years into it!!! From when he was a dumbo and didnt know me ) Hes been quoted to be able to raise £10k in capital in house... so he wants to pay off what he owes me (which 99% of is house related anyway) and then finish doing the house up and replace his work van with a cheap estate car... which will be more economical and practical!
Both still waiting on outcome of our job interviews... getting really nervous that we havent gotten them now and were gonna be in major trouble in the next few months...
On a plus point made £18 on ebay at the weekend on gifts my EX gave me a while ago.... so it was pure profit!
So transferred it straight to the bank to clear £18 more of my overdraft! Every penny counts!

Bless you! I'm so pleased for you - but do take the earlier advice and see if you can get down to the CAB about the Gross Misconduct dismissal - I was in a similar situation years ago when I was pregnant and I didn't do anything about it at the time, but I kick myself now - not because of any "compensation" I may have got but because the company got away with bullying and threatening me GRRRRRRRR!!
I truly hope it all works out for you!0 -

As many of you know, I was recently dismissed for Gross Misconduct after over 20 years working for the same company.
I am currently awaiting the outcome of my appeal, and can honestly say, recent months have been sooo awful. My appeal lasted a whole day, and wasn't nice, but I just had to do it.
As Helen said, you cannot let these workplace bullies get away with it.
Good luck :beer:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Thanks everyone!
Now ive come down off my high..hehe i have done myself a new budget on my new salary income! According to the netpay calculators online... i should be getting approx £885 take home pay a month.... so my new budget is:
Income:
Salary: £885
OH: £30 (for stuff on my CC belonging to him)
Total Income: £915
Outgoings:
Mortgage £241.00
House insurance £21
Council Tax £44.50
Water Rates £8.50
Gas £15.00
Electricity £20.00 (being generous cos not sure as yet)
Home Phone £10.00 (being generous cos probably less)
Telewest (tv+bb) £12.50
Mobile Phone £30.00 (being generous probably less)
Food £60.00 (being generous cos sick of living on basics)
Eating Out £20.00 (gonna allow for a takeaway twice a month)
Drinking Out £30.00 ( hoping to get a social life!)
Meals at Work £10.00
Bus/Taxi/diesel £60.00 (bus pass + fri night taxis - see drinking out)
Credit Cards £230.00
TV Licence £12.00 (paying DD for first time sooo)
Work Clothes £20.00 (need to build up smart wardrobe as havent one)
Savings etc £25
Total £869.50
Leaving me £45.50 a month for odds n sods... and unexpected expenses...
I KNOW I havent budgetted for birthdays etc specifically but they will come out of my £45.50 "spare" or my savings and once my debt is paid off.... i'll start saving loads more for xmas/birthdays and other big one offs...
Any money left from other parts of my budget say food, eating out, work clothes etc will be put straight off my debt as they will be bonus amounts! :j
I know it seems like a quite luxurious budget but ive not had a social life for nearly 18 months because of working nights/unemployment/debt.... so as im only 21 in september i wanna make the most of being young!! I wanna get out there and have a life.... and i wanna be a "normal" couple with my OH.... we have NEVER been on a night out together... never been the cinemas... never had a meal out... never gone away together..... just wanna be able to enjoy myself for once and not spend every friday/saturday night sat in with a cuppa watching most haunted and wildlife documentaries! :rotfl:0 -
