Hiya
Just popped on to say a huge thank you for all the support you've given me. The PMs have been really touching and meant a lot to me - such kind words help you get through times like this. I've also had a lot of help from my colleagues at the hospice. Things like this do make you stronger and also makes you realise the importance of family and friendship (the latter of which I have a lot of through this site). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Flying - my house is tidier than it's ever been. It's now a house I'm actually proud of!! No more fearing a friend popping by unannounced!!
So, all in all, though the Muddy household has had a bit of a major shake up I quite like what's reappearing as the days pass by. I know my friend would be proud of the changes her passing have made and she'd definitely tell me to grab every opportunity and run with it. Nothing like a kick up the backside to get you back on track!
Hugs to you all and I hope you're all ok. I'll start reading the thread again next week as we're going away this weekend to stay with some friends.

My fifth and final star PLEASE!
looking g-o-o-o-o-d in Valliland!
a MASSIVE thankyou because, although I often don't post these, subtle little declutters are STILL happening, although the lilac feather Boa didn't sell on e bay this time - might see if I can fiond a different category I can charge postage in then I can have a lower price...
but little sort outs keep happening so I open doors and drawers and don't go into a blind panic at the mess in there.
But the best thing I have learned to do is let go...
no keeping things because they were a gift, or just in case - I keep things I like. No keeping things for 'best' either - so my former 'best' cutlery is the set I use daily now.

But the best thing I have learned to do is let go...
no keeping things because they were a gift, or just in case - I keep things I like. No keeping things for 'best' either - so my former 'best' cutlery is the set I use daily now.:T:T:T Well done and thank you for sharing :T:T:TI hope that in time I can adjust my thinking to echo yours. I am trying bit by bit to let go of things but feel such guilt when I do so. However this week I've had a bag of towels for the RSPCA and multiple bags of clothes and household items for the local homeless charity. I will get there bit by bit especially when inspired by hearing other peoples successes. It is a quick cuppa for me now and then I am going to fill another bag to go. Thank you once again, odd as it sounds it feels like your post has given me permission to find my unloved objects a new home.0
