... and apparently feb is going to be even worse, so it's probably worth thinking about what was problematic this time and making some preparations so you don't need to go out, or if you do, you've got the right kit!toottifrootti wrote: »No I have been given a pass from barracks:rotfl: it has virtually all gone on the streets although there are some icy mounds lingering - rumour has it we are to get more of the same sometime soon:eek:
Yes. She is... she's tried to drink the house dry so Daz won't be tempted to break his diet...toottifrootti wrote: »come on jinky love - what happened to all that domestic goddess stuff last week - are you suffering from self inflicted over indulgence of certain beveredges???? :p :p
Mudders - lots of hugs and prayers for you and Karena's family.
Not much done today (DW is on for the second time, clearing up after all the recent cooking). Spinach soup made and needs to go into pots for freezing. Rice is cooking to take to work for lunch tomorrow.
New table in kitchen is lovely, and I've already started moving things round to take advantage of it! I managed to find three matching baskets that fit perfectly on the bottom of it so have table mats, napkins and tea towels there at the moment.
Went to the gym, returning some clothes on the way as they don't fit/look horrible. I also gave two boxes and a bagful of junk to a friend who is collecting for the hospice shop. I'll see whether I can find more stuff for when I see her next monday!
I've got some work to finish tonight, so i suppose I'd better get it done...0

Evening everyone, just a quick post before I crawl back into bed. I got up to be with DH when he got home from work but to tell you the truth I wish I hadn't. He has been about as forthcoming as a rat, and I can't stop from coughing - it doesn't help that everytime I cough I leak a bit, if you know what I mean. I am going through extra strong Tena's like nobodies business at the moment. The cold is also getting me down, it doesn't help that I am not recovered from the glandular fever yet so it has knocked me sideways.
Don't know why I am posting the lists as I seriously don't think I will get them done this week - my bed looks more inviting at the moment. And DH won't shift off his rear and help by hoovering etc.. I think he doesn't give a damn that there are dog hairs everywhere and cat litter bits on the stairs etc.. Knowing me I will probably end up doing and knock myself out even more. S
Sorry this turned into a pity post and I know there are worse off people than me feeling sorry for myself.
 *hugs to everyone*
