  • msgnomey I am glad that DH is improving again - its hard on you as well.
Have spent the weekend successfully sorting out the coats which I removed last week from my utility room. They've all been washed, and we've identified 7 (yes SEVEN) coats/jackets/hooded tops and three woolly hats which DD has outgrown and which can go to charity tomorrow. (One coat was aged 5-6. She's 12 now....:rotfl:).
We can now hang everything up without it all falling off as you walk by! It's bliss!
:rotfl::rotfl: MissH thats incredible:rotfl: - I am guessing the coat was too big and your DD is very small for her age:p well done for getting them cleared.
nopot2pin hope this week is better for you
MSD I have decided in my capacity of star giver that you will be awarded a puttytat for the days that you post -I know you are unable to do the lists but like LadyL we like to know that you are ok and around - and after all the lovely carols you posted at Christmas I think you deserve it - you are often the first to post in the morning so you get us going.
Edit: Sorry Toots, I can see you are ahead of me already... Ack, no, that was probably Soappie dressed up as Toots...:rotfl: I need a lie down!!
psml:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: poor soappie if she did have to dress up as me:rotfl:
melspur good to hear the wee man is improving.
rachelet - little and often rather than a huge purge and dont be overdoing it -when is baby due? and dont be lurking reading all the posts or you will get nothing done - just pop in and post what you have done and maybe read that page - at least until you get things under control a bit more.
Poppytime (((hugs))) hope you got KH and the problems sorted so you can have a better week
mummyyof5 I am a bit late now but I hope the girls got on ok looking for work
Triker honey no wonder you were too tired to post your list - that was an amazing amount of work - well done to you and the family:T No I have been given a pass from barracks:rotfl: it has virtually all gone on the streets although there are some icy mounds lingering - rumour has it we are to get more of the same sometime soon:eek:
ALIBOBSY do little and often and take plenty of breaks and you might acheive more without wearing yourself out
embb (((hugs))) its not easy and when you get behind its harder to do something about it - well done for tackling it - Now dont bury your head in the sand again - its not worth the stress
hi pooh :hello: how is the snow with you - can you get out easier now?
hellsbells well done for speaking up - I hope you get something sorted for DD real soon (((hugs)))
hi Carol :hello: hope the studying is going well angel.
    welcome back witchypoo , riversidejo
wilf huge squishy (((hugs))) its early days for your ebay stuff - you have done amazing getting all that listed - I am sure it will bring you some money before florida - try not to get too stressed.(easier said than done I know) and well done on all the paperwork - you might not have done much cleaning but that was a huge job to get done and get rid of the excess.:T
JoJo good luck with the appointment - may the power of the flyladies be with you - and then go sort out that woman at the college - its none of her business why you are at the hospital and I would be politely telling her - her concern is DD not you.
helen (((hugs))) I have been there so can imagine how you feel - could you do something from home - ooops see ceebeeby had the same thought. if moving isnt an option get a notebook and do a list for each room of what needs doing then start on one room and see what you can manage - ask on freecycle for paint and paper - can you sell some bits/clothes/toys to get a little extra to buy paint or cushions or bits that would help cheer it up? give yourself a challenge to do-up one room by ??????? be realistic - cost up what you need and then work out a timescale - it gets quite addictive trying to get it to come together.
chazsucks you are doing very well - keep at it and you will soon get the place under control again and find time to do things with that lovely baby :T:T:T
come on jinky love - what happened to all that domestic goddess stuff last week - are you suffering from self inflicted over indulgence of certain beveredges????
well done FFP :T:T hope the next one goes quickly .xx
boddy - oh dear:eek: I hope you havent a huge shortfall - how worrying and annoying.
JillD congratulations to your friend :T:T

Mudbath huge (((hugs))) angel and my deepest sympathy to Karena's family and to you and your family- at least it was mercifully quick at the end and she is now at peace. xx
AnW'sMum hope master W is on the mend and you all sleep well tonight.

    JillD congratulations to your friend

MONDAY ALL DONE PLEASE X X X CAN I HAVE MY FIRST STAR

Well today was a hit and miss, when I was working I worked very hard but also ended up sleeping for over an hour :o must have needed it, I only went to get DP up and we both went back to sleep, granted I'd only had 2-3 hours last night. Just made a start on tomorrows tea, I'd defrosted for tonight then tea was at play area so put the sausages in SC on low, in cold water/stock so it takes ages to heat up and hoping we don't have mush tomorrow.

2 washer loads done, not used TD again which is good. Going to finish watching this Gordon Ramsey thing then maybe bed as still feeling trashed. Still got this cold I've had since before Christmas.....so definately going to see GP as it's driving me potty and I know my MRI scan is overdue. Getting a bit pee'd with some meeting arrangements at present so snotty email just been sent, think I should refrain when feeling poo poo however it might give people the kick up the rear they need.

    Toodles x x
One day I might be more organised...........

helen (((hugs)))..... give yourself a challenge to do-up one room by ??????? be realistic - cost up what you need and then work out a timescale - it gets quite addictive trying to get it to come together.

Toots - thanks for that idea - god only knows why I didn't think of that for myself [can't see the wood for the trees maybe] I'm picking the LR as I now detest everything about it but we can't decorate it yet, its a small room but we would absolutely have nowhere to store sofas etc whilst doing it up [small house] and its a fiddly layout so it would involve quite alot of time and effort so I'm going to work around the main colours and improve on the general look of it. So tomorrow I'm going to take a cold hard look at the room and work out what I can do and cost it and then timescale it, I don't mind if it takes 6 months as long as I have a plan - I work well with lists and plans, thanks hun and I hope you're ok, miss reading your posts x

S & S'd the kitchen tonight, washed up [well DH did :T], off to bed soon with a catalogue for ideas [not using it to buy just nicking ideas] for my soon to be lovely LR. DH will love for me for NOT decorating and willingly go along with my plans so long as he doesn't have to paint/wallpaper and he'll think I'm a wonderful wife for that!! LOL :rotfl::rotfl:
