Default Notice- creditors

Hello again, Hope you all have had a good weekend. I'm back and still no baby... just more questions.
Just wanted to double check something with you lovely people.
Hubby and I went BR on 4th of Jan. Had o/r interview and everything fine. Got a letter from a creditor (capital one) to say that a default has been issued on the 11th of Jan. Should this have been issued on the 4th which was the date of the BR? and is that it now? shall I expect to hear no more from them?
Also HSBC are still calling about 15 times a day, I'm not answering as i'm to chicken and don't really want to get into a convo with them.... will they stop calling soon? I'm guessing if capital one have been informed then they will have been as well. Also still getting calls from Santander. Creditors have no current phone numbers for hubby so he's getting away pretty scot free..his are HSBC, MNBA virgin and RBS Mint .....phone silence for him..lucky !!!!!!
I'm not really sure what happens next with creditors.. will they all issue a default notice and then stop calling? what about the ones who pass on to debt collectors. Sorry for all the questions again.
Thanks guys x
P.s Phil we are having a suprise.... team yellow all the way. What about you?

If the default is dated 11 January probably not worth going to the hassle of asking them to change it. It just means it will fall off your credit file a week later than your bankruptcy which isn't bad.
Don't be afraid to speak to your creditors and tell them you are bankrupt and give them your BR order number. I actually looked forward to their calls so I could tell them!

It takes a while for the news to filter through to the callers. Given your current situation its probably best to ignore them and sort it out laterHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Exciting, is this your first? Hope it goes ok tomorrow, sure it will do, how nice to have an extra peek so late. Send my best wishes to your OH.
I'm not due until the 31st so i'm not going to worry about trying to evict him or her just yet. Although I did have a very hot curry last night. And been having my RL tea for weeks now.
Phil- does my BR number sound right to you?????0 -
Yes, that BR number sounds right. I was XXXX of 2008. In April my court was already in 4 digits!

Yep he's our 1st....and we're scared !!!*!!**!
Number sounds ok (your court must be VERY quiet with bankrutcy cases...I'd remove it from your post though as you can be found pretty easily with the info you give

Hi Dorothyp,
You have the correct number
Just give the creditors that, and the name of the court and everything should be fine and the calls should stop. Mind you, we had one creditor who said it was their company policy not to recognise bankruptcy - by the time I had stopped laughing they had hung up, and didn't call back again.
I'm afraid I have missed out on the waiting, curry's, RL tea etc. My OH had four caesareans, three of which got to the allocated time and had to be evicted. The last was a month early when waters broke, but the C was carried out immediately before labour had started.BSC 2710
