I don't think we have to worry whether or not phil is looking after his missus. He spoils her and she gets nightly foot rubs.

Not really....I've a few health issues some of which "could" have been passed on so we were referred to a genetics team who then referred us to a specialist FMU clinic and they've been superb with her doing things from growth scans to other bits and bobs...inculding when we had the news my OH "could" be a high risk of carrying a downs child..

She gets flowers every week...hugs every 3o mins and back & foot rubs every night before bedtime! although she's the same as your OH at the minute, she's been up unwell most of the night but after lunch she decided to start sewing bits curtains etc for the nursery to get everything finished..she's had less than 2hrs sleep & she's like a whirlwind today...god help me when she gets the "nesting" term

And this is only the start of the worry Phil ;) My nine year old had to have a general anaesthetic to have teeth removed last year, and I swear it was the most stressful hour of my life. Not a day goes by when one or the other of them doesn't do something to make me panic:rolleyes:

The other thing parenthood seems to do is trash your emotions. As a young man I could watch starving children and world disasters with impunity. Now, the NSPCC adverts give me a very large lump in my throat, and I can blub with the best of them when the Children in Need "what we have done with your money" bit comes on :o
Yep that general anaesthetic is the worst.:o

So true. It changes your outlook on life totally. I never forget a new Dad I worked with saying to me an hour after his new baby was born (we were still in the hosp) that he suddenly felt very worried about nuclear attack and also what an evil world we lived in. So sweet.

Good luck again for tomorrow.
