My Broadband has been playing up tonight, but I see you have not replied to the duplex/automatic suggestion I have subscribed to the thread and will get an email when you reply assuming my BB is ok

　hi agaiin, was just having my dinner. i have tried putting a screen print on but im not sure if its worked. i cant see a duplex or automatic box

I've just been searching the manual for your printer.

Have you tried restoring factory defaults?
This function will return most of the settings back to their factory values.
The display language and the settings in the Network and USB menus are not returned to the factory defaults.
To restore the printer to the original factory defaults, press and hold the Cancel button for more than three seconds.

Note: Before restoring the factory defaults, make sure the host computer or network has stopped sending information to the printer.

thanks for the idea ive just tried it and unfortuantly it didnt work. This is driving me nuts i dont understand why it keeps printing this out!!!!!!!!

Some random thoughts:

• Re-install the driver

• Try the printer on another computer.

i did try reinstalling it it didnt make any difference and i could use the other comp but id prob be aswell just wasting the extra paper. Its fustrating but i do appreciate your help. Im not meaning to be akward i thought there would be an easy solution......

why is it its always the little things that cause the most trouble?

Trying a different computer helps identify if the problem is the printer or the computer.

I again, still getting problems with my Broadband but had a look on Microsoft forums and not too much specific about the E120 so far still
Lets go to a bit of basic stuff
1) Control Panel/Device Manager/Select your printer and uninstall it
2) Check in Devices and Printer that it has gone if not right click on in it there too and remove device
If this has now disappeared unplug the printer from your USB port on the laptop
Restart the Lappy
Reboot the printer
Now plug in the Printer back into the USB port and wait for it to finish installing
driver
Then try again .... By the way what are you trying to print from (word/IE/notepad etc)

thanks for your answering me ive been ta work but ive just reset the printer deleted the driver and tried it again - still printing the instructions every time.

i also tried it on my other computer and its not printing them on it - just coming up on screen like it used to. im stumped any more ideas?

oh and i forgot to say its mostly powerpoint that im printing but also word documents
