  • I challenge myself similar to this. At the end of the day I put anything 20p or lower into a loose change pot, occasionally I throw in a 50p. I also put £1 into a sealed pot on a regular basis, which I will only open when full.
As it is the end of the month, I am going to go count my loose change pot. Its amazing how soon the pennies add up, especially when you bung the odd 50p in.

Evening all, good to have a few more join us. Welcome scotmumof3 and VALM! Great to have you join us... VALM I'm planning on doing this for a while still so look forward to hearing how you get on!

A good £1 again for me (payday wasn't long back so I'm managing to keep a few!) and only two days left before I can get that money box open and count up! It would be good if people can post their totals at the end of the month and I'll update the front post to show how much everyone is saving this way.

I've also updated the front page and have changed the name of the group - somehow "Bear Essentials" didn't seem quite right anymore - it was ok for me as my money box was a bear but for others the title doesn't give much away. I figured "Best Coin Forwards" worked a lot better?!! Hope that's ok with everyone else?!
Total debt at LBM... £16,815.02
