Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • I've counted up for the month and my grand total is £7.15. :D Very impressed as didn't think I'd manage £5. Also have a survey payment due, and sold a dress on Ebay, so it will be a very healthy boost of £23.65 into the holiday fund.

Same goes for yesterday and today. I broke into my pot mid month and nothing has gone back in there. On the upside I have used my debit card more so that I don't have cash lurking in my purse to be spent on rubbish. Have some coppers in the pot though. x

  • Sorry not kept up with the thread . . . had a very busy month! Hope everyone is well.

Have put money into the pot everyday but had to dip into it a few times. I've counted up today and have £14.05 so not bad.

Not sure yet what I am going to do with the money. Although I could use the money to help become a DFW my DFW budget doesn't leave any money for treats so I am tempted to use the money to treat me and dd

Well done everyone on your totals! It's amazing how much one coin a day can add up to :)

I have just counted up my pot and have a nice £10.95 which will go towards paying off one of my cards!

When I get a spare minute I'll see how we've done as a group and post on the front page! Keep up the good saving everyone and here's to a new month :T

Haven't posted in a while, and have dipped into the pot more than once, rather than going to the bank, but have just counted up and have a grand total of.....

    £6.40

Will keep going with this challenge, as it is useful to have a little extra to dip into when neccessary.

BTW it's amazing that there are any £2 coins left in circulation, as everyone seems to be saving them. I got three in one day last week!
