Mentions SOGA and DSR. Take a screen shot! It has to be taken as implying UK law.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
If you use firefox as a web browser there is an add on that you can get and install that shows a flag of the counrty where the website is hosted/based. Most UK reputable companies would have theirs hosted here in the UK, others like Amazon and that though might not but it is helpful if you have not heard of the site before. Also use WHOIS for more information0

You are cancelling an order for no aparant reason (every company has bad reviews). In the Uk this would be ok but you must accept you bought from the US.
Your "basis" of false representing is tripe tbh so i was just informing you that it made difference and you have only the rights they have given, which in light of things is quite fair, and actually, under uk law, you would only get the same right so why the big huff?
Boggles the mind.
Boggles politeness!...rubbish? tripe?...sorry that's not called for...but then I think you have questioned your politeness quotient on MSE in the past?0 -

I wouldn't depend on this add on. In this instance the company are using a server based in Durham thus it will show a UK flag"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

The web site states that the items are despatched from the US. I assume the OP paid with credit card so if it doesn't arrive then Section 75 still applies so a refund is perfectly possible from the card company. I'm assuming a camera is over £100
To order from anywhere online and hope you get the item within a week for a wedding whist perfectly possible is not something to bank on.
If crazycameras say the item has despatched there really is not much the OP can do at this point other than wait although I would say their delivery times stated are somewhat optimistic"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Despite the website saying they had 25 iPod Touches in stock they actually had none. I am currently in dispute with this company over non delivery. They refuse to cancel my order despite admitting they have no stock and they keep quoting my order is in the shipping queue. Quite astounding as they openly admit they are awaiting a new delivery and will ship as soon as possible.
I have given them a further 2 days to either ship my goods or give me a refund. If I get no joy then I'll inform my credit card company I believe I've been scammed.
I have to admit that I thought I was buying from a UK supplier. Sure you can find reference on the site to distribution being centralised in the States but how many of us really read the small print before we buy. I know will in future.0 -

- There is no reliable way of determining geographical location form IP address or anything else on the internet
- Hosting is global and there is absolutely no reason for a UK based company to base its servers in the UK and I would certainly not ascribe higher reputation to a company for doing so.

Crikey!! Just read their T&C's, not that they are very long, but this would worry me:Because of the nature of the industry, all prices on goods and availability of the goods are subject to change without notice. If there are any changes that we need to make to your order, we will personally contact you via e-mail or telephone call. We may substitute your purchase with an equivalent or like item if the good you ordered is out of stock. We do not make any deliveries on bank holidays.0
