Hi Katie
I understand how you feel on this and its so frustrating, but if you want to have another go then go for it with the help from this site.;)
First thing first, make sure you receive all your documentation back, you have the right to have these.
Then when you do, you can either use the templates from this site or as a guide with your own words, also the reasons you have for being mis sold the PPI in the first place.
Here is the link to the guidelines of reclaiming:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
This is useful, with a checklist of mis selling reasons and templates.
I note you said you have already gone through this but give it another try anyway, and take it from there, if they do not uphold in your favour, do ask the FOS again even if they could not deal with this before, on some cases they have resonsidered.
So exhaust this avenue and if this does not work, write to the insurer, the details of the insurer should be enclosed within your documentation.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond, and I would as well post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting.
It is up to you, also wait for other opinions as well on this and then you can decide from there, but we can help step by step.
Hope this helps hun, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Yes I assume it would be them (lloyds) and of course the FOS will be able to investigate if this did not work out.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Katie, are you able to pull out of loancheck without incurring costs from them? I would make 100% sure that this the case and the contract with the solicitors/loancheck is ended (get it in writing if you can) and also inform that FOS about having the complaint elsewhere as they can not deal with the complaint if this is already being dealt with.0

Katie, just in case I got it confused, isn't this the one where you said Heenans are no longer dealing with because they are no longer running?
Just want to make sure on this, cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I know Di but others that had cases with one solicitor cannot pull out (it seems!!) as its been passed onto another one. Just would not like Katie to be lumbered with a huge bill for work already done. Seems that some are in limbo as to what to do as they may get charged for work already done (Watson i think) although Watsons are no longer dealing with these they are being passed on. It is very confusing but depending who you have signed contracts with really.Katie, just in case I got it confused, isn't this the one where you said Heenans are no longer dealing with because they are no longer running?
Just want to make sure on this, cheers.;)0 -
Yes I agree Marshallka, and Katie should check on this as well.
It was Heenans mine was with but did not go any further with it, and luckily did not occur any charges, but yes I totally agree this should be checked through first.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
