N900 coming, need a new sim

Hi,

I'm not really sure which to get. I just applied for a sim from 3 due to it having good reception in my area, although saying that, O2 say it has good reception here, yet for the past 2 weeks I've had 1 or no bars, my O2 sim is ooold. I've also just read that 3 is slow and actually not that good, can anyone comment?

Anyways, I use texting most, will be using internet when not at home for browsing, fb, and other stuff. So, I'll need good internet prices, would rather not go onto contract sim, unless I find out that I end up using too much internet.

Can anyone help, I'm in Leeds btw.

o2 sim only maybe best, ok its a contract, but gives you lots for your money and can cancel with 30 days notice. Well done, I love my N90. See my thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2179637
    Kind Regards

But, like I said above, the reception on O2 has been crap recently, it's always been a bit crap, but nothing like this.
  • I have been on Three before and had no problems, where did you read the network is no good?

The best coverage I have had has always been with Vodafone. O2 claim to have the best coverage according to population, which means nothing when your car has broken down in the middle of nowhere and you have no signal. Realistically though you get the network which is best for where you spend most of your time on the phone.

If you want to stay on O2 just tell them you have an old sim that appears to be malfunctioning. This will be replaced for free and you may find an increase in your handset battery life as older sim cards are often higher voltage and consume more power than more recent cards.

Try tesco moblie for price as they use O2's network also
