Yes it's totally acceptable to try phoning them. Unless they're a paranoid recluse like most buyers it seems
Oh btw, my buyer came through. Had gone on holiday. Replied today, paid, and was most apologetic. I even enclosed a postcard (do it with all my buyers) although he'd forgotton.
Maybe look at it from this point of view. From a business standpoint it doesn't really matter if the transaction takes place today or in a month from now. It's just us as human beings who let our minds run wild and start focusing on the here and now.

But if in this situation again and with no contact whatsoever, I do still think I'd wait the 14-days. 0
