If you want an easy unlock look for the £17.99 Refurn Nokia 1101 these fly out of the door as if you are a virgin customer you get them for £7ish! With £8 cashback simple to unlock just ask on the mobiles Nokia unlock forum on this site!

Virgin also have refurb Nokia 1101 for £14.99 to existing customers, this come with a £10 airtime credit and £8 via quidco. These are on the virgin site more often than the £7 phones!

Never managed to get a £7 phone they sell out before I can even order one!

Got the aX72 and the £14 Nokia 1101, MSE unlocked in a few minutes fo the Nokia. AX72 still on virgin. My Nokia's were new no refurb, and AX72 were refurb but look like new.

Do you know if the ax72 has a data link (to connect to PC maybe via USB) and if this can be bought at cheap prices (on ebay or other places)?

Look at the BenQ / Siemans sitre for free software for address book and calendar. I download something for the A62 so the AX72 with much better organiser etc should have something.

I had a look here and the AX72 seems to have no software but the cheaper A62 does. It might be a badly maintained web site as both these phone can use serial or USB cables for data.

On closer inspection the FAQ for the AX72 explains how to use the MPM (Mobile Phone Manager) with the AX72 it also says there will be software ready when the phone is released. To get the MPM software download the software from the A62 page under PC Drivers and try with a serial or USB cable. The Ax72 is not USB it is serial, the USB cable for this phone has a USB to Serial converter.

I have a cheap £1.50ish ebay serial cable for the A62. I will try it with the AX72 to an report if it works.
