It is available for existing customers so you can sign up via a third party and then approach Orange direct to request the broadband HOWEVER (and this is an important issue) Orange will restart your contract. It is entirely possible that this will affect the third party retailer's commission. If it does, you can bet your bottom dollar that it will void your cashback.
Be VERY wary of this. If you go for the free broadband you should do so in the knowledge that you are effectively gambling with your cashback. Even if you get the go ahead from the retailer via one of their sales reps, who's to say that they aren't clueless as to the consequences of your actions.
Remember, it will be nigh on impossible to prove what you were told some 4 or 6 months down the line when you come to lodge your first cashback claim only to be refused. Furthermore, if you push for written confirmation of the over-the-phone advice I would wager that it either doesn't materialise or the sales rep quickly changes his/her stance after conferring with a supervisor.

the restarting contract we were aware happened but believed this was only if the contract originated from orange not a third party, wouldnt be suprised if it was wrong they dont mind making us look like idiots sometimesYes Your Dukeiness0

I have a free rental contract with orange through TheMobileoutlet. I confirmed with orange that they would give me free broadband, but that the contract startdate will be from the date of connection.
I rang TMO and the sales rep told me that this would mean that they would lose their commission, so it would void the contract for refund from them.
I was wary anyway given several poor reviews of the way Orange have handled customer problems but now that has decided me, Im going for Eclipse on a 9.99 deal for the three months, then 14.99.0
