    Hi all,

    A bit of an update for you.

    I have had various conversations with the Financial Ombudsman Service asking them as to progress with my claim(s).

    On 27th September, I received a letter from a Team Manager at the FOS. The main part of the letter was...

    As I have not seen any figures, I emailed the FOS asking what this means. I received a call this morning telling me that I will be refunded PPI I have paid to date and the remaining PPI will be re-calculated and my loan(s) re-structured. Along with this will also be a compensation settlement figure.

    I have agreed to the FOS's letter and returned their Settlement Form so Lloyds TSB will be writing to me within eight weeks.

    Will let you know when I receive a letter from Lloyds TSB.

    Thank you ALL! :)

    Fantastic, well done and Congratulations!:T:beer::j

  • I have now received both refunds from Lloyds TSB. The original loan amounts were £25,000 (7 years) and £15,000 (5 years).

    Both loans have had the PPI cancelled and this PPI figure has been taken off the monthly installments, which saves me approx. £130 per month :)

    The total cash refund I have received is just short of £9,000 :)

    Once I have a bit of time, I'll provide you with the steps I took in successfully claiming through Lloyds TSB :)

    I would not think so, you agreed to the loans and if they did not hold a gun to your head then you will have a job to prove they made you take this loan.

    If your outgoings were more than your income when they gave you the loan,you could put a complaint in as they maybe did not check your eligibility for the loan,but apart from that i dont think you have a case here.

    You could put a complaint into the bank and enclose a copy of the financial statement and see what they say regarding this.
    Let us know how you get on.
