    I would like to thank all who helped me with my laptop problems especially davb and rik without your help I would probably had to buy a new one as I would not have known where to start you guys are great. I have taken all your advice on board regarding anti virus and spyware and last but not least browsers. Thanks again lads

    I`d just like to thank everyone who gave advice on this thread. I was up til 3am last night trying to get rid of a horrible fake security thing and found this page when I was at my wit`s end, thinking there was no way that I could fix my computer alone.

    It`s sorted now thanks indeed to you smart guys on here!!!!

    A word of warning, you really shouldnt run combofix without being asked to by someone who can read the logs
    Simply running combofix straight away can corrupt the operating system
