AOL retention offers

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone has got a good retention deal from AOL recently please?
They've offered £28 a month for Broadband, line rental and unlimited calls.
On an 18month contract.
Seems okay but wondered if anyone had a better deal I can push for.
Thanks
Mel

What are your other LLU options-that's not a very competitive rate, but it does depend on your exchange.

I was seriously thinking of leaving AOL and going to SKY because I'd had so many nightmares. However, when I mentioned I was consisering leaving they reduced my monthly subscription from 17.99(silver) down to 12.99 per month. Plus they gave me a new modem router which has improved matters considerbly. This happened last March and it was for a 12 month contract. I might have saved even more by moving to SKY Broadband but I'm basically very happy with AOL and had no real desire to move.0

Hi,
I pay £9.99 for unlimited use of AOL and i am on a 12month contract plus they gave me £36 credit on to my account (bringing it down to £6.99 a month) they did this because i did not want there phone package as i am with talktalk and as soon as i said talktalk she said she would credit me. I would have been happy to pay £9.99, Been with AOL 10 years now seen my charges go from £39.99 to £6.99. I do all my downloading at night if i have any and get speeds of 6.5+ during the day and 7.0+ at night.
Have had a few days with out internet but that is a blessing because house work gets done.Jan Wins: .0 -

Hey your lucky you got a choice. Some horrible person just phoned from AOL saying it was a loyalty call and were reducing my broadband to £4.99 for 3 months on an 18 months contract. I said i don't wish to take it as don't want to be signed into 18 months contract. She said i couldn't do that, i told her my broadband has been on a rolling month contract for years and years. I was absolutely disgusted with the service, she spoke to me like i was stupid and then had the cheek to say "thankyou for your time, goodbye" :mad:0 -

Do you know whether you get to keep your email address if you leave AOL? Been with AOL for about 10 years but download speeds are awful and paying a fortune, however don't want the hassle of changing my email address.0
