  • I think you need to pop over to the PPI forum and they will be able to help you.

Have you reclaimed any charges even the £12 ones?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

    Hi there

It does not matter if your account is still active or settled, with your reasons you have for being mis sold, you can still try to reclaim on the PPI and interest, then if successful with no arrears (missed monthly repayments) they should refund directly to you.

They have 8 weeks in full to respond, here below is the guidelines of reclaiming PPI, and a checklist of mis selling reasons also template letters, use the templates if you want to or as a guide and the reasons that apply to you, and post letters by recorded delivery.

No they should not close your account because of you reclaiming.

However, for more help on this if required, I normally post over at the PPI reclaiming thread where you will find here:

Hope this helps, but anything that involves charges over £12 your in the right place here, keep this separate to the actual PPI though.

Good luck, please ask for help anytime and please keep us posted.
