Reckon you should call them up and demand compensation. Why not contact one of those companies that threaten to wipe out debt - sure this is a new angle for them. Can hear the ad now...

Years ago when I worked for a bank I wrote a letter to a customer just before lunch and took it to the pub with me to look over while I ate before returning to work and sending it to admin to be sent.
