Avoid this company if at all possible.
We bought a Philips Living Colours mood lamp as a xmas present on 10th Dec, it was cheapest one online we could find. We bought through shoppingbank.com which is a bit like amazon the company we bought it from use the above websites.
Waited till xmas Eve with no contact from them, no reply to emails or phone calls.
Started worrying that we have been conned of money £100. We then received it on Xmas Eve, luckily.
Anyway in the shipping box was a Euro to UK adapter, this was not placed in the Philips living colours box, so obviously the sender had put this in their shipping box as philips must supply a euro spec item.

However it wasnt until xmas day when present was opened that the adapter supplied wouldnt fit, the plug was the wrong shape where it fits into the unit.
SO got back onto seller, and ignored again, so contacted shopping bank who run the website and have waited till today of going backwards and forwards and emails being ignored.
The cheek of it they sent me a Shaver Adapter which specifically states for shaver use only on the plug and packaging!! Rated at 1amp when the light we bought is a 3amp rated product.
Not only that but it is dangerous to use these types of plug for anything else than shavers or electric toothbrushes.
I am livid and have contacted them again and they apologise I bet they thought I wouldnt say anything.
For an expensive product and to supply a shaver plug is a joke and an insult.
Will report back when this is sorted as they are saying they will post the correct plug and offer me £35 of another unit if I like.
Cheers
Richard.

Hi,
I actually have to disagree with your findings on this company. I have used them 3 times and I have found them to be friendly and very helpful. I ordered the 1st time, A Navman Car Satellite Navigation unit. It was the cheapest online and saved me £20 from the next nearest company I could find. It took 6 days to arrive but this was stated that the delivery could take a week so therefore they were within their time limits.
The second time I purchased a Samsung BD-1250 Home Cinema system. It did come with an adapter plug, so I was a little worried, but contacted Samsung UK Helpline and they told me this was fine and would have probably been supplied from France. The Home Cinema system arrived in 4 days so again within a week and cost me only £359 which was £50 cheaper than the nearest company being Dixons!:j
My 3rd purchase was for a Brother All in 1 Laser Printer. Again this was £25 cheaper than the next nearest competitor and was delivered in exactly 1 week. Again it came with an adapter plug which was fine and it save me a packet!
I am now looking to buy a TV from them and I think this time I will save myself about £150! My view of this company is that when you first look at their site you may feel a bit weary but I have to say the service has been excellent. The customer service is friendly and the savings are the best I have seen! :A
If you want to save money with this Company I would take the benefit of the savings if you are prepared to wait a week for your product!

Good to hear you havent had the same experience.
I would say my experience has been enough to put me off them and I wont be ordering again, it was only because they were cheaper than other stockists that I chose to use them.
I was told upto 10days for delivery but this expired.
Its also going to be the 4th time they have tried to sort out this plug adapter now for a company, this is not acceptable.
However since this they promise to deliver the plug by Tuesday via courier and also £35 voucher off of another product.
I will report back afterwards on how all this unfolds. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
Not something you should have to do, but if the worst comes to the worst, and providing the item will run on 240 volts, just cut the original euro plug off and wire on a UK plug with a 3 amp fuse in it. Simples.squaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! :money:0

Its absolutely obvious to me that thesaverman has signed up just to defend his company. Dishonest people who do this just make their company look a LOT worse in my opinion.0
