problems with mobiles.co.uk no wii fit plus for over a month :(
I dont think i researched this company enough before placing my order.
Placed it about a week ago had hardly any contact with them now they call me and tell me my free gift wii & wii fit plus wont be in stock for a month do i just want the wii fit on its own?
i dont i really wanted the wii and wii fit plus but i dont even know if i believe them.
For starters they never say on the site that there is no stock on the gifts the wii fit plus is advertised on their site now even though they claim to not have stock for a month or more.
They put loads of gumf about getting your gift the next day im beginning to think they are full of baloney! Are they just giving me the run about should i just cancel the order or trust that if i chose to wait a month is actually still get it?
Dumber still if i chose the xbox360 instead (i like but wife not happy) would it ever turn up?

edit: within the last half hour they removed the wii fit plus off their site ...sigh.

Unfortunately we only heard late in the week that the Wii Fit Plus will be unavailable for up to a month, this was unexpected hence it being on the site longer than would have been allowed if we knew this earlier. As you can see it is now gone from the site.
I take it you haven't received your phone already, as we only despatch handsets and free gifts together. As you have been told, we can supply the Wii or Xbox now but there is nothing we can do to speed up the supply of the Wii Fit Plus. Looking at Argos I note they're out of stock too which suggests this is a nationwide thing (Nintendo prioritise Japanese and US markets - there is no "Nintendo Europe" any more).

well against the wifes wishes i wanted to get the forza 3 with it instead now, but i cant get an answer on the number the guy left me to call back on called mitchell (0800 0813344). i just want peace of mind that ill get the order next day like the website offers instead of going round in circles having to look on this forum to find a contact number.0 -
Where goods are out of stock you will get an email advising you your options - if you want to proceed with the Forza pack and Sales are busy I'd recommend emailing order.processing at mobiles (or preferably use the contact form on the site as this will route it directly to the right person) who will get it sorted and confirm despatch via email.

its only because the guy called me directly half hour ago and said i can call him right back, he gave me a number but doesnt go through, its just ringing and ringing...
decided final decision ill di it with the cashback anyway.
im not sure what you mean because all i received a couple of days after my order was this one email

I was not emailed or advised of my options (eventually by phone and the guy said hed ring me back but didnt) and after all the waiting and worrying i wanted to hear from a human on the phone that the order had been changed and was going ahead as i didnt get good response form my initial emails to mobiles.co.uk0 -

didnt get a response by email or phone after our email ben waited on phone for 10 minutes and managed to amend my order today by a rather unfriendly sounding guy on the phone, ill see if the order turns up tomorrow as suggested.
On another note i dont like the fact mobiles.co.uk automatically add insurance and support package with the phone an an extra £9 a month, if i dont want or need it i dont want the extra hassle of calling other companies uo and canceling it. The guy on the phone could not remove it from my order. not good.
overall verdict of mobiles is good deals but on the downside if they insist on being a web only company saving people money by not having a call center they need to have a better reponse time to emails (often no response at all).
Also a live stock count on items would save a lot of hassle for people (since they are in no rush to let you know your items not in stock anyway)0 -
It's been over a month now since my order i opted for cashback instead of the wii but
not received a cheque yet how long should it take?0 -
i must say that i had a very possitive experiance with mobiles.co.uk ordered my phone and wii +wii fit and sports resort and it was delivered within 48 hrs the cashback according to the website takes 21 days to account for if the phone is returned and u can cancel all the insurance that comes with it0
