Help!

I've currently got a contract with 3, which i've had since july 2009. Last month (i dont know how i did it!) but i had a phone bill of £121.52, and i paid it over the phone etc, as they'd managed to cancel my direct debit.

Then this months bill has came through and it's saying i owe them £145.17 because i didn't pay last months bill, which i did.

I've rang them 3 times in the past week now to ask them to take it off my balance, and they haven't. They then told me my payment was now late (even though the bill isnt due until the 24th of January), and now my phone has been disconnected.
I also asked them the first time i rang for them to set my dd back up, which they just didnt even do.
I'm only a student, so I don't even have enough money for them to be making mistakes like this!!
I've told them everytime that it's on my bank statement, i paid the bill on 22nd of December 09, and that I have a reciept number from them, but they still wont accept this!
I want to end my contract early anyway because the customer service and the way i've been treat about this is awful.

Do i even have a leg to stand on with this? What can I do???

Thanks x

How did the bill get so large - missed payments?

Go to www.three.co.uk and click on Contact Us (Get in touch) and then click "Getting in touch about your mobile" and then "Other ways to get in touch" - there is an online billing help machine robot which eventually should be a human - so you can enquire about your billing there.

Having trouble posting link here but I think this will work http://ask3.three.co.uk/mobiledocs/contactus/contact_us_other_ways_4.html#
  • i didnt have enough minutes, only got 75 and i went over by miles, but i upgraded them for an extra £5 and i've not went over at all. but then i've had all this hassle!

Could have had lots of minutes for only £15 at that rate - anyway try talking to them through that link (billing enquiry) - you can only try to explain again and again till they get message that you have actually paid them.
