For £1,500 I think it's worth calling in at the bank and asking. Did you get a letter with it and has that got the correct spelling?£2021 in 2021 no.17 £1,093.20/£20210

the letter has the same mistake, they spelled correct on itv site, but the one that processed the cheque made the mistakeA rule of the universe is, the more you give, the more you get0

I'd try at the bank, they aren't always that strict, i guess it depends who you get really! I have been able to put a cheque in with a spelling mistake before, but then again it wasn';t a large ammount like this one so they maybe more careful!
Good luck, hope you get it sorted soon x:starmod: May all your wishes come true! :starmod:0 -
Congratulations on a fabulous win :j There may not be anybody there answering the phones today, but I'm sure they'll be happy to issue a replacement cheque..they can just cancel the incorrect one, and hopefully send one with the correct spelling on. Fingers crossed that will come just as quickly..am sure it will be fine
The other alternative is to try the bank, but am sure you will have no problems with ITV issuing a replacement cheque, as it is their mistake..
Congratulations again xxJune wins: 2 x Robbie Williams tickets, iPad mini, £200 skatehut voucher
A huge thank you to all posters xx0 -
Change your name by Deed poll? :rotfl:
I would just ring the bank and ask as others have said. I have put cheques in the bank with a spelling misstake and it was accepted and cleared.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. My bank have my name spelled wrong (an extra "n") and I keep meaning to sort it out. But cheques are processed fine even though they have the correct spelling.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Well done for winning. I had a similar problem with a cheque for £1000 from pepsi. For some reason they put an EN on the end of my name. I took the cheque into my bank and explained to the cashier, she asked the manager and it was accepted and went through fine. I would definately take it into your bank and ask if its ok. It should be fine if not ask ITV to replace it as its their mistake. I hope you get it sorted. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0
