Cheap vs. branded wet wipes?

Are cheap wet wipes just as good as the branded ones? Or is it just better to pay the extra for the more expensive ones?

Obviously its personal choice but I always stock up on Huggies or Pampers sensitive when they are on special offer and they usually work out cheaper than the cheap ones.
Never pay full price for baby wipes!! There are always deals to be had. Asda baby events are good for stocking up and you can usually gets deals like this

Don't stock up til baby is here tho and you know which brands suit.
Cheap baby wipes are thinner and dryer so you use more anyway.
I'm sure lots of people will be along to tell you how un MSE disposable baby wipes are and to cut up an old towel and soak it in water tho0 -
Best wipes ive ever used are ALDI's mamia, 95p an the best wipes ever an ive used them all

But faced with a pooey nappy I reach straight for the Asda basic wipes.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
We've used boots own brand which are very good and also pampers. Dont like huggies but I'm sure they suit some folks. Dont even bother with the really cheap ones in rolls in plastic tubs - they are horrible.
The deal csh has linked to is really good (pampers). We got this deal from tescos about 6 months ago and ended up buying at least a dozen packs (6 individuals to a pack) of these. Lasting ages...Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

If I'd know this, I wouldn't have gone to Sainsburys last week and got some.
I have used Huggies and have had no probelsm with them.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I have used them all - fortunate don't have sensitive baby bums. Aldi are very good but agree go with good brand when on offer and stock up. I came across a website recently (cant recall the url) that had washable natural clothes and it wasn't too expensive (about £20 for a kit I believe) but after trying natura nappies for a year the thought of more poo in the wash...stick with the bought ones0

D'oh! always check boots first, they do this deal two or three times a year! They are rarely in stock at local store tho so I order online and get them delivered to the store for free.
I currently have 41 packets upstairs, wonder how long they will last me lol0 -
I think I have tried every brand of baby wipe available to try and figure out which was best value for money!!
Up until recently i had settled on Pampers Simply Dry wipes which are £1 per pack in Savers.
Then last week I discovered Superdrug have launched some new wipes which are only 69p per pack.
I wish I could bring myself to use a towel or muslin instead of wipes as this is the most economical way by far - I'm just so slack keeping up with the washing I think I'd just end up with lots of wee soaked bits of towel around the house! Yuck!0 -

This is what's putting me off too.
Without going into too much detail, I also have really sensitive skin and have even had problems with soft toilet roll. The scar I have on my coxycc doesn't help at all.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
