    Afternoon all,

woke up with a stonking headache today must be the lack of alcohol :o

    So far I have
    • checked online banking and looked at budget for rest of month. Doing okay so made extra payment on cc and moved some money to savings. This weather has been really helpful.
    • Listed a few items on ebay for free listing day, must do some more later.
    • Washing on 30 and will dry on airers
    • Tea from freezer and sighty dodgy veg I bought earlier this week.
    • Won a tenner on lottery last night - thats twenty pound this month so that is squirreled away for when I want a treat.
    • Heating off while dd out and all plugs in her bedroom switched off.
    • DD will need collecting later so will combine with a visit to cheapest local petrol station as one enroute to work is expensive and I will need to fill up tommorow.
    • Will really try and do some housework today:rolleyes:
At least now the weather is better I won't have to get up at silly o'clock to dig car out for work tommorow.:T

Enjoy whats left of the weekend folks.

    Hello all!
Been away for the weekend to friends down south and am now home - had a nice time but I'm not a good visitor (would rather be at home) - yes, I know I'm a grumpy old woman (at 38!)

Had to fork out £23 for the kennels for 1 night too - daylight robbery but they do look after him well.

    This weekend I have/will...
    • Check banks
    • Stick to diet today (yesterday was a disaster)
    • Hoover downstairs and wash hall walls down where dog shakes himself dry and coats the wall in muck - done
    • Walk dog for free exercise
    • All meals from plan and stores
    • Only spent about £12 all weekend - stayed in and had a curry (no babysitter) and had a few bits from services to keep me going so not too bad (OH paid for the petrol as they're his friends)
    • Clean kitchen floor
    • One load of washing in (will dry on airer)
    • One more load to do later
    • Unpack and tidy round upstairs
    • Have a nice bath later with Xmas smellies
    • Do about an hour of uni work ready for tomorrow
That's it for today - hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Congrats Bagpuss on destroying the card.

Today I have listed 4 items on ebay (had forgotten how annoying and fiddly it is ). have photographed more for listing later, but need to go to town and get a refund on a top in the wrong size that I got my OH.

In not so MSE, I opened the curtains and the rail came off in my hand, taking bits of wall with it. It is over our bed (and now the concrete dust etc is *in* our bed  ) I wonder what my OH will say when he comes home and sees the mess!

This is a great site. THANKS to all for inspiration.

    Well today I:

    Walked the dog locally

Spent morning and bit of afternoon putting up 12 things on ebay. It'll net me about £18 but if people bid, maybe more.

Took some frozen leek and potato soup out of freezer and had some just now Mmmmm

Stayed in kitchen and didn't heat rest of house as no ones around today.

Didn't go to the supermarket AT ALL.

    Tomorrow is another day!!!!:T
