No common sense, can't spell, can't carry out even simple tasks without needing their hands held. Think the world owes them a living. Need to discuss the whys and wherefores of every tiny detail when I just need them to do as they're told. Know little about the world, poor basic education (due to the dumbing down of GCSEs, A levels and degrees these days to meet Government targets), little interest in anyone else.

    I could carry on. ;)

seems to me the person that selected them is pretty useless..

Just because you've found some who leave a lot to be desired doesn't mean all university students and graduates are the same. It's really rather ignorant to tar everyone with the same brush.

    Make £2020 in 2020 - £263.78/£2020

    2020 totals
    Swagbucks - £100 | Prolific Academic - £44.54 | Qmee - £10 | PopulusLive - £50

I didn't. I acknowledged that a few are rather good, but the majority aren't. ;)

The 50% in HE aspiration is a good way of manipulating the unemployment figures.;) A quarter dropout before completion.

TBF, you don't know every student who has graduated, what their degree is and what job they have.

I don't understand why you're being quite so rude.

University fees are still heavily subsidised by the government; the amount that students have to pay is a fraction of the actual costs.

Actually, students from poorer families can be comparatively comfortable financially at university as there are grants and bursaries available to them as well as student loans; these aren't available to students from wealthier families.

It's the families like mine where the students suffer the most: we aren't considered poor, but we aren't well off either, so we are in the middle. This means that the amount of money DD gets from the SLC is the minimum, but this doesn't cover all her costs - she doesn't qualify for anything else, but we can't afford to subsidise her. She has found it really difficult to get jobs over the past 3 years and has just been told her hours (never guaranteed in the first place) are being cut to virtually nothing. Her loan only just covers her rent, yet she still has to live!!!
