    I forgot about this, but it's great.

    the map overlay is very useful and the historical pictures added makes it interesting too.

    Great for places of interest too, not just your home.
    Plenty of mistakes, but no regrets. :)

    Great. Thanks but how do I use the overlay referred to and the magnification, because when I try to enlarge it I still don't see my house clearly.

    just click on the map overlay tab, as you pan the mouse over the photo an area of map is superimposed over the area around the pointer. The magification isn't great, but I believe these images were taken from space.

    (Edit: should have mentioned you can adjust the scale using the dropdown box at the bottom left of the picture.)

    I know Northern Ireland isn't there, but you can get shots of various historical buildings as well as sporting venues which might still be interesting.

    I am amazed people did not know about Multimap it has had this facility for years. Things have moved on so if you think this is good download google earth! If you live in a city the detail is stunning. The photos of London even show the road markings!!
