early pregnancy symptoms?

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster. I am a little worried at the moment. I have what I think may be early pregnancy symptoms. (very early as my period isn't even due yet!) my last pregnancy was 10 years ago,so am very unsure as I can't remember what it was like that far back!
I wondered if anyone had any of these pregnancy symptoms very early on, extreme tiredness, a weird taste in my mouth that makes me feel a bit nauseous. sore boobs, aching hips, bad skin, (I have had these symptoms over a week now and have never had any of them before, I do get sore boobs when I have my period but never before.)
I know time will tell, but I am getting myself a bit worked up about it, (which may be giving me false symptoms???) We can't afford another baby.

You know it could be something else. Nausea and funny taste in mouth could be related and mean a tummy bug and the sore hips could also point to you just being under the weather. I had pg symptoms every month I was trying for my munchkin but none the month I conceived.
It's a long shot I know but you're not necessarily pg. The only thing you can do is do a test though or wait it out a few more days

When I was pregnant with my second child, it was the level of tiredness that made me suspect that I might be. It felt just the same. My OH said that I couldn't be, but went out to get a test to put my mind at rest, and obviously it was positive.
However a few times since I have felt that I might be pregnant and was wrong. I'm not sure if it's just that I'm fearing it so much that I am too ready to think it.
Really the best thing to do is pop out to the supermarket and buy a test. It's not worth worrying when you can get a definite answer. The more expensive ones can detect pregnancy before your period is due.0 -
yes, you are right, even after 10 years I know these symptoms.
I guess I just wanted someone to say it is far too early to be getting symptoms, or that it could be something else..........
Thanks for your response
It could be something else, they by no means confirm you are, the only thing that will is a test when you can. x0 -
is it worth doing one of those early tests?or will it be too early? I'm not even sure when my period is due, as I don't take much notice as my contraception has always been so reliable. It must be this weekend though, I'm estimating around sunday.0

I found cheap tests to be just as reliable as expensive ones, i got an early negative from the two for a pound ones. Of course if you do it early and it's negative i'd do another after when i was sure i was late to be sure.0 -
An early test should pick that up if you're due Sunday. Use first urine of the day as the hormones are stronger
Hope things work out :cool:Updating soon...0
