HiLife Complete and Crunchy is even better: 26% organic chicken. Bizarrely the one they label on the front as being "rich in organic chicken" is only 21% meat: http://www.hilifepet.co.uk/osb/showitem.cfm/category/7Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I feed Hi Life wet and dry. I really can't recommend it enough. It's a very good quality food, quite inexpensive (I buy it from Home Bargains!) and my kitten has small, firm poos on it
Thanks for this, i have fed this in the past for a change, i`ve just been reading here http://www.ethicalconsumer.org/FreeBuyersGuides/fooddrink/Petfood.aspx
and they state further down the page (Animal testing policy bit) that they rate the manufacturers badly as they did not provide information on animal testing. Does anyone have any more information on the manufacturer who are called Town & Country Petfoods?
It would be nice to have something local that i can feed in case i ever have trouble delivery wise and i have a local store that sells Hi Life.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
I might be missing something but purinas ingredients don't seem much different to iams to me. Don't quite get why you'd change them from one low quality food to another. And looking at the above posted link, both purina and iams are on the 'to avoid' list.
I might be wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me if I am.
I was merely pointing out that i changed from iams with no problems like the OP was asking!
And yes I did realise iams/purina were very similar but i am at work all day so cant take online deliveries and i have to go a long way to a pet shop.
so when my vet told me Billy was allergic to chicken i had to change him onto another supermarket brand quickly to save him having more sickness & poops!!
however I have since discovered a local garden centre sells james wellbeloved so have gone onto that now - I hope this meets your standards?!?!?!.0 -
Please be nice to each other online - manners cost nothing!
I get my online stuff delivered to relatives. If I am working somewhere that is ok with it sometimes to work or agreeable neighbours - v rarely am I personally at home to take deliveries & have been doing it for years. Works out alot cheaper but you do have to plan/buy well in advance.
Pets at Home were doing special offers on food - might be worth checking their website & stocking up when they are again - it's not all the time & the last time I went there weren't any offers so I just bought litter (I do alot of online ordering pet food `out of hours' as it's more convenient - with whoever is doing the cheapest deal at the time - most recently Petsupermarket).0 -
A good site online I recommend is Berriewoods. I get all my food through them and can't fault them :money:Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

What have my standards got to do with anything?
I was merely offering an opinion because I mistakenly though you were pointing out that you changed from iams as it's not that great a food. Had I realised it was in reference to changing food without problems I wouldn't have replied.Sigless0 -

and i cant carry it home on the train from work - lol there is often not enough space to breath on those crowded commuter trains yet alone for carrying sacks of food0 -
