Alternative to Iams catfood

I shall read some more when i`ve a bit more free time, i`m liking the look of the trophy website. I`ve never heard of them before but am considering some food from here and also some raw food too, maybe half and half?
Does anyone have any opinions of the food from the trophy site please?
SD
Depends how fussy your cat is! Noah didn't like either Trophy OR Burns despite not being fussy, I mixed them with Orijen/Applaws and he picked out the high meat stuff.Burns, Trophy and Arden Grange all offer free samples so kitty could pick from the shortlist ... If you are happy with a 35% meat food then I'd marginally prefer Burns: they use free range meat and sustainable fish and AFAIK Trophy don't.

just to let you know i weaned my cats off iams ocean fish and onto purina one - salmon flavour without much hassle
I might be missing something but purinas ingredients don't seem much different to iams to me. Don't quite get why you'd change them from one low quality food to another. And looking at the above posted link, both purina and iams are on the 'to avoid' list.
I might be wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me if I am.Sigless0 -
Rev - you`re not wrong, i`ve seen Purina on a list somewhere these last two days, i can`t find any info on Burgess which is a bit disappointing as this means that they probably use ingredients which have been tested, i`ve been mixing one of their products with other things for years!
I`ve sent off for Trophy samples for both the cat and the dogs and tomorrow i hope to source samples for Applaws and Orijen. If i can find a nearby supplier i shall pay a visit and buy one of the smaller bags to test, the postage prices for the smaller trial sized bags almost made me pass out
I`m still on an information gathering exercise.
Thanks for everyones input.

Sunnyday: Applaws will send you a free 50g sample, Orijen you have to pay for. Notice you are in Yorkshire, if you happen to be located near Bradford I'll give you sample but I'm afraid I don't drive.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Aw thanks so much for this kind offer, i think that i`m going to order some anyway and if she won`t eat it then the dogs will have a treat now and thenthey are both cat food pilfering monsters anyway.
If i`m going to be spending such an enormous amount on the food then i shall make sure the houndies can`t steal it especially the younger one who seems to have a sixth sense and will actually queue behind the cat to see if she`s left anything
I think that i`ve pretty much got the cat sorted out and i plan to use a mixture of food so that she dosen`t get bored. So far on my kitty list i have :-
Orijen fish dry catfood
Applaws chicken dry catfood
Chicken wings
Sprats or other fish cut into small chunks
The odd tin of kitty tuna or sardines
Tropy dried food when i`ve decided which one
When i next get paid i shall do an order online and hopefully it will last a good while. Can anyone think of anything else that she may need? I`m hoping that she won`t need anything else vitamin and mineral wise and that i`ve done all my homework correctly but everyones opinion is more than welcome.
Thanks

Looks spot on, tho I might add some heart for extra taurine but that isn't essential (taurine is essential, not heart IYSWIM).

I feed Hi Life wet and dry. I really can't recommend it enough. It's a very good quality food, quite inexpensive (I buy it from Home Bargains!) and my kitten has small, firm poos on it
