It's worth a try phoning them & explaining what went wrong & you may be lucky in getting them to cancel the charge. I have done this sucessfully in the past with a bit of grovelling:o . Hope this helps.Love to save & love a bargain0

It'll be automatically generated so the computer will have flagged your account going over and hit you with the charge. Give 'em a ring and they'll more than likely take it off.0

i also did that and the guy said im supervisor, team leader
there is no one else than me who you can speak with, he was so rude
and annoying, just kept going on that i should expect no less than to get a charge.
saying you have gone over now exept it.. he was well out of order0 -
IT's unlikely that you would get through to a supervisor on the first call.
May places don;t actually have managers/supervisors available for comment they just put you through to a team that are trained to deal with these calls.
Callback, advise that you wish to speak to a manager, if one is not available you would like a callback.
Tell them that you think it is disgusting that you have been charged for this - lay it on thick, i.e how much do they value your custom? How much intrest do they get from you each month etc.
If they won't budge, suggest they do a half refundIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

I think we should have a predetermined time where all us dissatisfied Barclaycard victims call them to complain of there arogant and selfish attitude, however some of the leeches wont see that way as i note from other threads regarding Barclaycard they will blame you for going overdrawn. Did you actually go overdrawn or is it because they applied interest and then charged you as they did me several times.Rememember. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when, You might need them to empty your bedpan.0 -

I have had a barclaycard for 3 months now with a very low limit (260£) and whenever I reached this limit, my card stopped working.
How did you manage to go overlimit?0 -
So you didn't sign an agreement which detailed the terms & conditions, including these penalties, I assume.
Of course you did, you knew what the playing field was long ago.
Whilst there is a huge debate on the size of the charges, you didn't comply with your agreement. You may well get it wiped out if you phone up.
It's not the fault of Barclaycard.
It's the fault of you......I live in hope that one day someone will own up to one of these mistakes instead of constantly pointing the finger at the lender.0
