in Water bills
I've had a water meter fitted & it has saved me money however, I now find my sewage cost are ½ as much again as my water bill. e.g water bill £55, sewage £86 when I phone Anglian I am told thats because sewage is more expensive than water, but I had a water meter at my previous home & the sewage bill used to be around £1 -£2 more, can anyone explain please?

Was the previous property supplied by Anglian?
Are you being charged for Surface Water Drainage?0 -
Anglian are more expensive for sewerage then some other companies..That is just the way it goes.
So I am guessing you were supplied by someone else where you use to live.....Them's the breaks really and there is nothing you can do about it. OFWAT set the level of profit the companies are allowed to make so really it is up to them how they get there.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.
