    Size 4 are 20.49 per box and contain 168 nappies so (2*20.49-14 / 336) 8p per nappy

Im confused , how come this isnt 12 pence (ish) ?

    20.49 x 2 = 40.98

    Minus 14 for buying 2 boxes = 26.98

    divide 26.98 by 336 nappies (168 x 2) = 0.080297619047619047619047619047619

    so 8p!!

Please correct my maths if wrong as I am a little tired!!

the "minus 14" bit is the voucher offer on at the moment at costco

costco have a promotion coming up (18.01.10 - 07.02.10)- the Huggies Giga packs (size 4 from memory have something like 154 nappies) - buy two get £14 off. I can't recall the normal price for them though but it usually works out a reasonable price from memory :)
If anyone is near a Costco maybe they could share the price with us all :)

Ahh gotcha , so no offer and still a price of £20.49 would then be 12odd pence.....i will have a look at the ASDA receipt when i get home and report back the exact price

I wouldnt touch the Costco own brand Kirkland nappies with a bargepole, they smelt and were not good quality.

Odd - the ones we bought for years never smelled (until they had been used!) and were excellent quality. We must have saved a small fortune over the years

Previously I have always used Pampers but I bought some Sainsburys own brand and never gone back, I buy in bulk at the 1/3rd off event to last me till the next one as they are every 3 months now :)

I dont know if it works out buying the branded ones at Costco though

I am so glad nappies are a thing of the past in our household
We all evolve - get on with it
