Tocco lite memory card

I have recently purchased a memory card for my Tocco Lite.
The 1st 1 i bought didnt show upon the phone so i sent it back and got another 1 and that is not showing up either.
Have i did something wrong?
Do i need to format it and if so can any 1 tell me how to do this?
Im at a complete loss!

Memory cards for mobiles have to be compliant with certain voltages - so if you get the wrong one - it may not work.
If you go to ebay and search for "tocco lite memory", you can find some ones that ought to work (I would go for a fully packaged Kingston 2gig or something - costs £6.99)0
