After a new PAYG smartphone
Hi,
I'm going to be looking into a new smartphone and need some advice.I can't really go contract due to bad credit history.
My current O2 SIM is so old it doesn't do 3G and the connection in this area is really bad, so thinking about moving to T-Mobile. So firstly, I need a SIM, I use mostly texting tbh and would use internet a lot, not just FB, browsing, but also would use IRC as well as other stuff. Is this the best SIM to go for?
I've checked:
I'm an ex-programmer so the N900 will be the easiest to develop for as I use Ada mostly now.
Seems buying one from Nokia via Quidco is the cheapest I've found so far coming in at £449.99, does anyone know of a better deal?
Thanks.

I've checked:
- iPhone (not multitasking, lots of apps, need a Mac to develop apps for it, etc.)
- Android (some dodgy styled cases, lots of apps, looks nice-ish, Java API's)
- N900 (a bit thick, didn't really need the keyboard, dunno about the apps, can develop apps in any language).

i new to smart phones but paid £99 for a nokia E63 would that count0

Do they still use Ada
- and does the n900 support it?
If you are progrmaming - would have said the Android would be easiest to develop on with java. The n900 is untried and Apple is apple (whole new learning curve but popular).0 -
What about the TMobile Pulse?
It has Android, GPS, WiFi, a decent processor, is responsive touch screen and in the future will support 1.6 - 2.0
I had a Sciphone N19 before the TMobile Pulse and the Pulse beats it ten times over despite being £20 cheaper now.
The Market provides a comprehensive number of Apps and TMobile also provide the SDK for you so you can go editing as you like!0 -
You could try Andriod, it's meant to be quite good for developing new apps for.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

T-Mobile pulse is by far the most superior phone to the pound. If it was manufactured by a better known brand it would be so much more. Its an andriod phone with good CPU and RAM... and WILL support andriod 2.0 when it comes out.0

Just download the Devlopers Toolkit - - choose your platform, done if you can write your own apps, I'm surprised you don't know that !0
