Easymobile are great, I've got 3 Sim cards for me and the OH. £24 from Quidco and £75 from Easy.

Good service, shame I'm to tight fisted to keep with the same Sim and buy credit as they would like me to.
Bet match total as of 04/10 = God Knows + About £1000 Quidco. Time for Mrs Huddsta to have a crack!!!

The Bronze Challenge - earn £250 in profits =£73.32

Not touching it with the dodgy service charges 75p non-use thingy.

Oh they are still running this scam are they?

See the other easyMobile thread to learn about my experience with them. I will NEVER purchase from the easyGroup again and am currently penning 2 letters of complaint, one to Stelios and one to the easyMobile CEO.

This is taken from hotukdeals :
For those of us that have an easyMobile SIM and want to remove [free] the automatic overdraft applied to every SIM purchased from them....

    Go to easyMobile.Com Here

Use their live chat client and let them know you wish to cancel the automatic overdraft facility.

You'll need your website login information and your phone number account you want to remove it from.

They'll do it there and then, so they won't be able to take more than your credit balance allows. It's also free to do this, no charge at all, but ask them if that's so when on there.

You can also ask how to stop automatic top ups from your card if you have that option activated. But you can't have that removed in live chat.

Doing this means that the 75p charges will only ever come off your credit.

Fine by me, just more chance of the offer being prolonged for people who have an ounce of savvy.... :money:

Couldn't agree more! I think I might have the 75p deducted from my balance next month, unless I get a few more calls in. But I don't care - as a low-ish user, I'm obviously having slight difficulty in getting my calls to add up to £5 over 3 months with Easy. With Orange I used to pay around £10 a month, and didn't use my mobile as often as I do now. Orange used to cost me 75p for the first three minute call in a day, Easy costs me 9p - no wonder I can't get my bill high enough! Even paying the 75p will save me a fortune.

Like Clasics, I'm quite happy for some users to have difficulty in understanding which side their bread is buttered on .....

 They asked you to ring up and verify your address IIRC. Like I said on that thread, card security has been 'upped' by most major retailers and the LINK system had a slight hiccup recently, resulting in some card payments being rejected so probably not easymobile's fault. Don't forget to write to your MP and the European Court of Human Rights as well

PS You also stated you couldn't be arsed (your words) to ring them up and verify your address but now CAN be arsed to write letters to them and Stelios. Sorry, but I find your attitude confusing...

Er, they wanted proof of my address sent via mail, ORIGINAL copies. Person on the phone said they would accept my Passport or some other documents, most of which I wouldnt send to anyone

These other documents though included things like
Bank or Building society Statement (less than 3 months old)
    • Credit Card Statement
    • Chargecard/Storecard statement (i.e. John Lewis Card)
    • Council Tax Bill

I had the same correspondence from them, but my issue was sorted quickly after a couple of emails.

Remember if you want a cheap phone for Easymobile...

Get the refurbs from Virgin (£10 off if you are Virgin customer) and £8 via Quidco.

EVEN THE LOCKED VIGIN PHONES WORK WITH EASYMOBILE.

This is becuase the Virgin and Easy services use t-Mobile. T-Mobile will also work on a locked Virgin phone.

See the seperate thread from the Cheap Virgin phones. If you are lucky enough to get the £7.89 Nokia 1101 refurb from Virgin, get it unlocked free on the MSE unlock thread for free!

The Siemans phone (colour, speaker, 9 day stand by organiser etc) is on £9.99 in vat and delivery. £19.99 if do not have a virgin account. Plus Quidco pay £8 cash back.
    Seth.
