Does anyone have any more info on the credit check they perform when you buy (or activate?) these SIMs?

Are they just ID checks or full blown credit checks? And do they run the check each time you buy a SIM?

This is the only thing that's putting me off as I don't want it affecting my next lot of credit card applications. If I buy 5 SIMS and they do 5 proper credit searches then I won't be able to get any credit cards for at least 6 months!

Has anyone actually checked their credit reports after buying these SIMs?

I have a few questions that I haven't found the answers to on the easymobile site:

    1. The £30 free credit (now £25), is there any date by which you have to use your free credit?
    2. If you forgot you had the Sim (not that I'm likely to do that) and you started racking up 75p a month charges, can Easymobile charge your credit card directly?
    3. Does the sim prevent you from making calls when the balance gets to zero (like standard pay as you go sims) or will it happily let you get a negative balance?

    Thanks alot

Be VERY careful not to go into Negative credit with Easy Mobile, as the £5 charges for non-payment can soon mount up !!!!!

Yes, I know there is a recent thread for their last deal but I thought it was worth refreshing....

Buy a simcard, pay £2 and get credited with £25 airtime.

Buy it through Quidco http://www.quidco.com/ and they give you a further £8 back (cash).

Buy more than one card (I've done it with three), use the first number to recommend the second (and so on) and all cards get an additional £5 credit.

I did it recently for the old deal and all the above has worked for me.

Also, the sim cards were delivered swiftly and worked in both of my family's phones (perhaps this is a fluke, don't know)?

All in all, a cracking deal...runs till 12th July.

Takes about 5 mins to do...

Yes, I know it's not groundbreaking but it worked for me....and as this is my first attempt at recommending, please be gentle with me...

    hello.

could anyone or a previous poster tell me how you are able to order more than one of these?

i have ordered one already, but as it says 1 per customer i was wondering how to get another.

is it just a matter of same address but different name? would i need to sign up using a new account for each sim card?

    thanks in advance.

btw. my 1st post here, in the 2 weeks i have been looking at this site i have read some great advice. thanks everyone.

Customer Services have told me that you can have a max of 5 accounts per person. I think the '1 per customer' is per promotion. I have ordered 2 SIMs from 2 different promotions but never from the same so I don't know if this is true. Hope this answers your question.
